Who it may suit

We need to check your appliances against the model’s evidence before saying who it suits. Start by calculating your consumption.

When to look elsewhere

Do not choose it if you need confirmed compatibility and information about your load or the station is still missing. Missing information is not a proven limitation.

Main trade-off

A documented interpretation of this model’s trade-offs is still needed. We do not infer portability, runtime or ease of connection from isolated figures.

What we know

Fields with documentation: nominal capacity, continuous AC power, weight, dimensions, chemistry, maximum solar input, solar input conditions, DC/USB output limits, number of USB ports, connection features. Each field retains its limits; this does not verify the whole model.

What needs checking

Your setup still needs checking: startup, cables, ports and simultaneous use, operating conditions and solar installation. The offer, package contents, final price and availability are checked separately.

Next step: check your consumption and appliance connections; nominal capacity alone does not establish compatibility.

Nominal capacity
286 Wh
Continuous AC power
600 W
Weight
4.7 kg
Maximum solar input
220 W
Connections: documented ports, voltages and limits ↓

Documented limits of the reviewed variant. Port power does not guarantee your appliance's protocol, cable or start-up. Shared groups limit the sum of loads.

Charging and power: conditions that change the decision ↓
Mains recharge of the whole battery
Charging verification pending. This is a manufacturer claim under its stated conditions, not our own measurement. It is not the time to replenish your daily consumption.
Solar input
Solar XT60i: 11–55 V, 13 A, up to 220 W; the manual requires panel voltage below 55 V without an explicit Voc label. Check Voc/temperature, current, polarity and cable. Vehicle input 11–55 V/8 A/220 W does not verify every vehicle voltage; start the vehicle first and secure the connection, with a separate cable. AC charging power remains unverified due to a discrepancy: manual 380 W versus Spain 360 W; 650 W with an additional battery is a different configuration. A 6 A input is not charging power. Maximum combined AC+solar charging and verified recharge time remain unknown. Peak sun hours describe equivalent energy, not clock hours at constant maximum power.
Start-up and special modes
Transient peak verification pending. Special modes may reduce voltage; they do not replace continuous power.X-Boost: appliance limit of1200W, subject to compatibility.X-Boost is enabled by default and configurable in the app: appliances with nameplate ratings up to 1200 W only if compatible and tested; unavailable in bypass. The manual excludes instruments with voltage protection. This is not 1200 W of ordinary continuous power or startup evidence; the voltage reduction mechanism is unverified. Startup power and duration remain unverified.
Power supply continuity
Transfer verification pending. An EPS/UPS function with interruption does not establish medical continuity or compatibility with all sensitive equipment.

What do watts and watt-hours represent?

The W describe power at a given moment; Whdescribe accumulated energy. Multiplying an appliance's power by its usage hours estimates energy: 100 W for 2 hours is 200 Wh consumed by the appliance. Losses mean the battery must supply more.

  • Phone or tablet: 15 W × 2 h = 30 Wh

Illustrative load; check charger and USB protocol.

  • Router: 12 W × 8 h = 96 Wh

Hypothetical constant power; confirm the power supply.

  • LED light: 10 W × 4 h = 40 Wh

Example of one light; add the others if used simultaneously.

  • Compressor fridge: 45 W × 4 h = 180 Wh

Four hours of compressor operation, not four clock hours or measured consumption.

Illustrative power and hours, not measurements of your appliances or verified runtime of this station. These Wh represent appliance consumption before losses. Check each appliance's port, voltage, protocol and start-up requirements.

Formulas and assumptions for the AC example ↓

In the example of 100 W for 2 hours, the battery would supply around 265 Wh: AC consumption ÷ 85% efficiency, plus 15 illustrative inverter watts over those two hours.With90% of the286documented nominal Wh available, such a constant load would give approximately1.9 hours. Formula: capacity ×0.9 ÷ (100 ÷ 0.85 + 15).

Battery margin, losses and inverter consumption are planning assumptions, not measurements of this model. Temperature, ageing and variable consumption may change the result. Do not apply this AC example directly to USB or DC.

400 W of panels: generation and solar example ↓

This is nominal generation power. With 4 peak sun hours and 75% assumed solar efficiency, the example is 400 W × 4 PSH × 0.75 = 1200 Wh. This is energy equivalent to six uses of the 100 W, two-hour example before output losses, not six guaranteed uses.

ForEcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus, also applying the documented solar maximum limits the example's power to220W and its indicative calculation to660Wh.Four PSH do not mean four clock hours at a constant 400 W. Voltage, current, connectors, accessories and actual conditions must be checked; clouds or an incompatible input will change the energy. This figure is not a whole-battery recharge time either.

Sources, documented fields and review date ↓

Model: EU RIVER 3 Plus EF-RV-H02-1 286 Wh; not H03-1 268 Wh, base RIVER 3, Wireless or Max kits. Region: EU documentation: 230 V/50 Hz; AC socket count, SKU and physical Spanish plug still need checking. Review date: 2026-10-12. Established fields: nominal capacity, continuous AC power, weight, dimensions, chemistry, maximum solar input, solar input conditions, DC/USB output limits, number of USB ports, connection features. This review does not establish price, stock, ASIN, warranty applicable to your purchase or physical testing.

Specific outstanding checks.

  • EU RIVER 3 Plus EF-RV-H02-1: 286 nominal Wh LFP, 600 W total nominal AC, 230 V/50 Hz, 4.7 kg and 234 × 232 × 146 mm. Combined AC loads must be strictly below 600 W in normal and UPS operation; exactly 600 W does not meet that condition. Not the H03-1 “270” 268 Wh variant, base RIVER 3, Wireless or Max kit. Usable energy has not been measured.
  • AC socket count still needs checking: the Spanish store advertises three, but the manual notes regional quantities and US illustrations. Neither three nor zero is adopted as a verified EU count; SKU/physical plug remain unverified. Power USB ports: two USB-A and one USB-C; USB-B is for computer/NAS communication, not power output.
  • AC idle timeout may turn off fridges and other intermittent loads; set AC timeout to “never” in the app when continuity is needed and check the battery. Timing, thresholds and current configuration are unknown. Display sleep after 5 min does not demonstrate main power shutdown. Port memory does not restore outputs switched off manually or by timeout.
  • USB-A: 5 V/2.4 A, 12 W per port, 24 W shared total. USB-C: explicit PD3.0/QC3.0, up to 100 W; profiles 5/9/12/15 V at 3 A and 20 V at 5 A. Vehicle: 12.6 V/10 A, 126 nominal W, load strictly below 126 W. A 760 W total for all outputs does not mean 760 W AC; aggregate DC maximum is unknown. Verify cables, polarity and actual negotiation.
  • X-Boost is enabled by default and configurable in the app: appliances with nameplate ratings up to 1200 W only if compatible and tested; unavailable in bypass. The manual excludes instruments with voltage protection. This is not 1200 W of ordinary continuous power or startup evidence; the voltage reduction mechanism is unverified. Startup power and duration remain unverified.
  • UPS with a mains connection requires combined AC loads below 600 W. The manufacturer advertises switching within 10 ms; exact time remains unverified, not 0 ms. Life-support medical equipment is excluded; CPAP and other loads require independent checks. Optional Power Manager over USB-B is neither installed nor integrated.
  • Solar XT60i: 11–55 V, 13 A, up to 220 W; the manual requires panel voltage below 55 V without an explicit Voc label. Check Voc/temperature, current, polarity and cable. Vehicle input 11–55 V/8 A/220 W does not verify every vehicle voltage; start the vehicle first and secure the connection, with a separate cable.
  • AC charging power remains unverified due to a discrepancy: manual 380 W versus Spain 360 W; 650 W with an additional battery is a different configuration. A 6 A input is not charging power. Maximum combined AC+solar charging and verified recharge time remain unknown.
  • Wi-Fi/Bluetooth app. One battery from the RIVER 3 Plus family is supported: EB300 adds 286 Wh, EB600 adds 572 Wh; 572/858 Wh kits do not change the base station’s 286 Wh. Turn off both units before connecting/disconnecting. A 990 W total with an extra battery describes a different assembly, not a base or AC limit.
  • Charging 0–45 °C and discharging -10–45 °C, optimal conditions 20–30 °C, with no guaranteed physical runtime. Advertised 3000 cycles with SoH >80% at 0.5 C charging/discharging and 25 °C, with depth of discharge unspecified: cycle life remains unverified. Applicable warranty, price, stock, ASIN, photo and reviews remain unverified.
