What your browser remembers.
This information describes the current code. It does not establish the configuration of every hosting service or external store.
Local interface storage.
A cookie can accompany requests to a server. localStorage is browser storage and is not automatically sent with those requests; a script with access to the site can read it. In this version it is used for two functions:
- theme
- Remembers your light or dark mode preference. It remains until changed or site data is deleted.
- ep_compare_ids
- Remembers the models selected for comparison. Clearing the selection removes this key. You can also delete it through your browser's site data settings.
Shared calculations and requested pages.
The calculator and comparison can retain parameters in the URL. Opening or reloading the link requests that address from the host, and it may also remain in browser history or the service where you share it. Running the calculation in the browser does not guarantee anonymity.

No connected visitor analytics provider was found in the reviewed code. The public version does not include test logging or its panel. The interface storage described above remains active; logs and cookies used by external services depend on their own terms.
Technical logs and any hosting security cookies depend on the host's configuration. Their existence, retention and processing must be confirmed in the provider's dashboard and terms; we do not invent a retention period.
Amazon, stores and other third parties.
Clicking an external link takes you to another service. Amazon affiliate links include the project account identifier; purchase attribution and commissions received remain unverified. Cookies and their conditions depend on the destination service: consult its policy.
How to delete or limit data.
You can delete this site's data in your browser's privacy settings. You will lose the saved theme and comparison models. Deleting local storage does not automatically delete history, previously shared links or third-party technical logs.
