Does a power station need approval at the van's Spanish ITV inspection?
This guide does not determine ITV requirements for your installation. If you fix equipment in place, modify the vehicle or add permanent wiring, confirm specific requirements with an ITV centre or competent professional before installation. Secure and use the station according to the manual.
How do you charge the station while driving?
Check whether the model accepts vehicle input, its voltage and current limits and whether it includes the appropriate cable. Also check the socket limit and vehicle instructions. Do not connect a station directly to the alternator without a compatible system and reviewed installation.
How many days can a 12 V compressor fridge run?
Use your fridge's measured or declared daily consumption as a starting point. For example, 1,024 Wh with an assumed 85% usable energy and 450 Wh per day gives around 1.9 days before other loads. This is a theoretical calculation; temperature, compressor cycles and losses may change the result.
